The artist combines large, flattened planes of colour with a more painterly, expressive treatment in the animals and foreground detail. Presented in a mid-century wooden frame. Signed lower right and dated '45. On panel.
Condition
There is a split at the top of the panel, running from the left and finishing near centre. No signs of restoration. The frame has light surface wear and scuffs. The artwork is in very good condition for its age.
