The composition draws the viewer's eye along a winding dirt path, where small figures bring scale to the mountainous backdrop. Signed 'A. Hulk' to the lower right. Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age, including some discolouration and light dirtying to the surface of the oil. The gilt-effect frame is in good condition. Small losses in the mouldings have been filled.
