Description
Six hand coloured aquatints engraved by Richard Gilson Reeves (1803-1889) after James Pollard (1797-1867), showing different fishing scenes. Four prints have been cut down and have less accomplished colouring than the larger two. Each plate is inscribed with its title, the publishing date and address and the artist's name. Signed in plate. On wove.Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. The four smaller prints all have tears and pin holes at the corners and edges and mount burn within the plate lines. The two larger prints are in excellent condition with only some discolouration.
