Peter Snell was born in Oxford in 1935. He served in the Air Force for nine years and spent much of his time touring the world. In 1979 Snell decided to focus all his efforts on full time painting. Snell now lives in Wiltshire with family, where his studio overlooks Salisbury plein. His work in oils explores the English landscape. He has had numerous one-man exhibitions and his work is to be found in collections worldwide.
