Artist Biography
Patti Harford was born in Mid Wales in 1952, and moved to Bradford on Avon as a child. With a focus on the fluidity of paint, Harford's recent work explores new ways of achieving her characteristic light and loose style. Although the main body of work focuses on watercolours, pastels and soft pencil are also a prominent feature within this collection. These mediums are particularly connected with Harfords animal portraits, which produce a variety of textures apt for the fur and feathers of her current favourite subject.
