A truly charming pair od 19th Century watercolour genre scenes, the first showing a young boy, eagerly tucking into a large pie with great gusto. The second shows the boy dozing in his chair after having polished off the whole pie by himself. The humorous pair have been rendered with wonderful detail and a simplistic, rustic composition.
