Oliver Warman RBA ROI (1932-2017) studied fine art at Exeter University and the main influences on his development as a painter were the artist, Edward Seago, and the Newlyn School of Art in Cornwall with its emphasis on form, landscape and natural light. His paintings were popular and sold well, particularly in France and Germany. He was made a fellow of the R.B.A in 1984 and the R.O.I. in 1989. His work appears in the collections of the British Royal Family, the Emir of Kuwait, The Sultan of Oman and several corporate collections.
