A delicately executed botanical study of purple Lupins. The artist has sued an unusual composition and mix of media, intertwining a fine graphite sketch of the plant in its seed pod stage, with the delicate, colourful watercolour drawing of the plant in bloom. The artist has initialed to the lower right and the painting has been presented in a contemporary silvered frame with layered mount and glazing. There is a label at the reverse with the artist's name and information about the flower. On wove.
