A very fine early 19th-century watercolour portrait of a gentleman wearing a striped waistcoat and dark overcoat. Finely painted with great attention given to the facial features. Well presented in a papier-mâché frame. Unsigned. On paper.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age, including some discolouration and some minor foxing. Marks and scuffs to the frame.
