A wonderfully crisp profile silhouette of the 19th century gentleman, Thomas Pooley. Handsomely dressed in a fine evening jacket and cravat. The miniature figure has been delicately enhanced with gilt body colour. Well presented in its original ebonised frame with brass oval window and decorative hanger. Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration to the silhouette and tarnishing to the brass. Some wear and tear to the frame to include minor chips visible at the outer edge.
