The thoughtful brush strokes and colour palette clearly highlight the artist's proficiency in the subject and medium. Signed indistinctly to the lower right-hand corner. The artist's name has been inscribed in graphite on the reverse. Well-presented in a distressed gilt-effect, cushion-style frame. On canvas board.
Condition
In good condition overall, with minor surface marks and some craquelure to the margins and corners. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration. Very minor scuffs to the frame.
