A pretty rural view in watercolour showing a style at the end of a footpath surrounded by grasses and trees. The soft mass of hills can be seen in the distance. The painting is unsigned and presented in a burr wood veneer frame with glazing and a layered card mount. On wove.

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. The frame has a chip to the gilt of the inner window but is in otherwise fine condition.
