Canoes line the bank of a tranquil river as a pair of ducks leave rippled wakes as they swim past. A man works on one of the canoes further along the shore, whilst a woman walks along the path from a humble farm building. The work is well presented in a black frame with a beaded gilt slip. Unsigned. On canvas board.
Condition
Signs of wear consistent with age, including discolouration and some marks to the surface. Inspection under UV light reveals no apparent restoration. Light scuffs to the frame. Overall, the artwork is in good condition for its age.
