Michael Blaker (b.1928) - Original 20th Century Etching. Etching with hand colouring. Signature inscribed in plate. Also signed in pencil lower right, as shown. Title inscribed in pencil. Signed. On wove. Creasing to top left corner, otherwise in fine condition. Image remains unaffected.

Michael Blaker is a writer and artist specialising in etching. He was for ten years editor/designer of the Printmakers Journal, the annual magazine of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers, of which he is a Senior Fellow (RE). He has contributed many articles to Printmaking Today, of which he is an Editorial Consultant. He has also written extensively for the Artist Magazine, Leisure Painter and Pictures and Prints.
