A delicate graphite illustration of a young woman with large purple ball gown and green hat by May Gardiner. Gardiner is well known for her delicate illustrations of fairies and fantasy scenes. Well presented in a cream card mount. Inscribed at the lower edge of the paper 'May Gardiner'. Also inscribed on the reverse of the mount. On wove.Condition
The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and very minor foxing.
