A finely detailed watercolour by contemporary artist Ellie Ling, entitled 'Love in a Damp Climate'. A couple are depicted sheltering from a downpour in an abundant glasshouse, with doves and a small dog. Well presented in a limed oak frame and card mount. There is a Mall Galleries label to the reverse of the frame, indicating this work was exhibited in 2012. On paper.Condition
In fine condition overall. Some very light scuffing to the frame.

Artist Biography
Ellie Ling is a contemporary British artist who studied at Leeds and Hereford, graduating with a First Class degree in Illustration. She is inspired by her travels around the British Isles and Cornwall in particular, and she continues to play with colour in her work. Her garden scenes are 'part real, part imaginary', influenced by the illustrative work of Peter Malone.
Ling continues to exhibit nationally, and her work has been shown at the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour, the Royal West of England Academy and at the Mall Galleries.
