A set of three graphite studies of a female sitters the largest measuring (50 x 37.5cm), the smallest (47.5 x 32cm). Pierce's studies focus of the facial features, sensitively capturing the sitter's character and expression. The largest study includes an additional sanguine portrait on the reverse, showing a sitter in spectacles. Unsigned. On wove.
