A wonderful female nude, by highly collected artist Mark Clark (b.1959), who is renowned for his superb technique and skilled draftsmanship. His work focuses on two main themes; the female figure and people from his travels in India. This oil is well presented in a modern gilt effect frame. Signed. On canvas board.


In fine condition. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration.

Artist Biography

Mark Clark is a British Artist, born in 1959. Clark is a graduate of the Loughborough College of Art and Royal Academy School. The human form is the central inspiration for Mark Clark, the foundation of Mark's work is drawing, for him the fundamental basis of art. This has translated not only across media to oils, pastels and print-making, but also across continents. Clark regularly exhibits his work, at one man shows and more recently the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.
