paint and etcher and cousin of Lucy Kemp-Welch and Edith Kemp-Welch. She studied with Frank Short and at the Herkomer Art School in Bushey, Hertfordshire, from 1891. Margaret was Head of Art at Clapham High School for Girls, London. She lost most of her early work which was destroyed when a German bomb hit her studio in 1918. She was a member of the Women's Guild of Arts and also wrote children’s plays. He exhibiting career encompassed venues that included the Ridley Art Club, RA, RBA, RE, RI and SWA. Examples of her work are in the collections of the Bushey Museum, V&A and BM.
