Niven was born in Marlow and was a painter of landscapes, portraits and flowers in oil, Margaret Graeme Niven was the daughter of the artist William Niven A.R.E. She studied at Winchester School of Art, at Heatherley’s, and under Bernard Adams. Niven’s work was exhibited widely in London and the provinces, and is represented in several public collections. She lived for many years in Wormley in Surrey. Member Societies; Royal Institute of oil painters; National Society of Painters, Sculptors and Gravers. Exhibited R.A; Royal Institute of oil painters; Royal Society of Portrait Painters.
