An austere Swedish School portrait of a mourning widow, dressed in a black veil, with a bright coral necklace. Signed to the lower right. Well presented in a gilt frame. On canvas on stretchers.

Condition

In very good condition for a picture of this age. Some light surface marks. Inspection under UV light reveals no restoration. Very light scuffing to the frame.
