This gestural pen and watercolour study from the mid 20th century shows several tourist admiring a spectacular Waterfall near lake Bled, Slovenia. Smartly mounted in a glazed pale oak frame. Inscribed to the reverse of the painting is the cheeky inscription 'Looking at waterfall near Bled when Mary sees two men who were staying in the same hotel- Most Attractive!' indicating that the two figures in the picture appear to be the artist and her sister, Mary. On paper.
