M.A. Greaves - Signed and Framed Original 1899 Oil. In a black frame with gilt slip. Previously sold at Bonhams Auctioneers. Signed and dated. On canvas on stretchers. Condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration and a closed and filled small tear to the canvas in the lower right quadrant. Inspection under UV light reveals touching up to this area but it is not visible otherwise. There is a split to the slip in the upper left corner and some scuffing to the frame.
