Description

A charming late 19th-century genre scene by Ludwig von Rossler (1842-1910) depicting two young girls making flower crowns amongst old brick ruins. The painting is well presented in a gilt-effect frame. Signed lower left, with further inscriptions and biographical information verso. On panel.

Condition

The artwork presents in very good condition for its age. Inspection under UV light reveals no apparent restoration. The frame has minor surface wear, including small chips on all sides.
