Lucien Veder used the pseudonym, Legarf, so as not to be confused with his famous father, Eugene Veder. He learned the art of etching from his father after the First World War receiving the bronze medal in the 1923 and the silver medal in 1925 for etchings of Paris at the Salon des artistes Francais. The Louvre is still showing his etchings. Veder born in 1902. He used the pseudonym 'Legarf ' , so he was not confused with his famous father Eugene Veder, who trained him in the art of etching after the First World War. He received the bronze medal in 1923 & the Silver in 1925 at the 'Salon des artistes francais' for his etchings of Paris. The Louvre still show his work. "
