Description
A striking etching by Welsh artist Sir Frank Brangwyn (1867–1956) depicting a lively river scene in Albi, France. Figures work busily on the riverbank whilst tall, closely packed buildings line the far side, rendered in an expressive, sketchy style. Signed in graphite to the lower right. Well presented in a wooden frame. On paper.Condition
The artwork is in very good condition for its age, with minimal discoloration to the paper. The paper appears to have been trimmed within the plate lines and affixed to a new backing sheet. Minor scuffs to the frame.
