A compelling collection of new work by the contemporary French artist Lorella Bianco has landed at Sulis Fine Art, direct from her studio. Bianco combines oil paint, oil pastel, charcoal and other media in her innovative representation of dreamlike scenarios.
A French self-taught multidisciplinary artist based in East London, Bianco's work explores the strength and sensibility of internal female conflict. She translates her emotion via studies of the female form, body language, natural elements and rich palettes - using mainly charcoal and oil pastels on paper, and more recently experimenting with the linocut process.
Her work is a tool used to explore mental health, human relationships and feelings. Using mixed medium and media, Bianco combines the female form with natural elements and dreamlike patterns to create colourful scenarios of strength and tenderness.
