Artist Biography
Leonard Beard (1942-2007) was a self-taught painter who had a career in the Merchant Navy before moving to Wales to paint full time. His work was included in a National Museum of Wales exhibition in 1988 and the Paris Salon in 1994. He also held solo exhibitions in numerous Welsh galleries in the late 20th century, including the West Wales Art Center,
