A finely detailed 19th century watercolour, depicting a beached fishing boat with sail and two figures, waiting for the next high tide. Set in a wide landscape with sandy beach, a large headland is shown in the distance. Inscribed '4th April' to the lower left. Unsigned. Presented in an off-white card mount. On paper.

Condition

In good condition for a picture of this age. Some very light foxing to the sky areas. Some small marks to the mount.
