A fine late 19th Century landscape showing a dirt road with a man on horseback, talking to a ragged traveler at the side of the road. The painting is signed indistinctly to the lower left and the painting has been presented in a 20th Century gilt frame with stick and ribbon molding. On wood panel.

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration.
