A fine late 19th Century landscape showing an old stone bridge across a river with a small figure fishing at the right bank. The painting is unsigned and presented in a late 19th Century gilt frame with delicate low relief strap work and ribbon and foliate molding. On canvas.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including heavy discolouration. There is some craquelure to the surface. Inspection under UV light reveals some areas of restoration. The frame has heavy discolouration and tarnishing to the gilt. There is some splitting at the lower right corner.
