Description

A delightful Victorian oil study of a young boy selling fruit on a street corner. The basket of fruit has been painted with fine attention to detail and the child's face is almost angelic. Well presented in a gilt effect frame. Signed indistinctly to the lower right corner. On canvas on stretchers.

Condition

Overall the condition is good. There is a canvas repair to the upper right corner. There is some craquelure to the surface. Light marks and scuffs to the frame.
