A fine late 19th Century lithograph of a book cover from the Art Nouveau movement. The cover shows a beautiful entwined pattern of seaweed that winds around the title. A mermaid lovingly pulls on the arms of a nude man, pulling her towards him. The lithograph has been presented in a simple oak frame with card mount. Inscribed at the reverse "Winifred Hodgkins." On paper.
