A very fine example of a 19th century French Rococo frame with high relief foliate mouldings, featuring scrolling acanthus and c-scrolling. The frame has excellent form and proportion with an aged gilt finish.

Window size: 32cm x 24.5cm, frame size (at largest point of ornamentation): 38.5cm x 30cm, rebate: 33.5cm x 26cm
The frame has tarnishing to the gilt, typical for its age. Stable cracking noticeable down each rail, again typical for its age. There is an area of restoration to the frame's lower left corner.
