Late 19th Century Engraving - Studies Of Hercules
Description
A pair of fine engraved studies of Hercules with his weapon of choice, his club. In the first study, Hercules is seen with the skin of the Nemean lion draped over his arm and a laurel wreath (the mark of an Olympian champion) held above his head.
The engravings have been presented in a gilt effect, fluted frame with botanical outer strapwork, a marbled blue mount and a gilt inner window.

The engraving and frame are in fine condition.
