L.J. (Leo) Webster was a talented designer of commercial packaging and advertisements. From a collection of original paintings and drawings by Webster, many of which are original designs for various printed labels and products. The collection includes works of exquisite steady-handed precision with a paint brush. Mostly dated from around 1900-1920. Also including some more personal portraits of the artist’s family. In addition, we have an album of printed samples of his designs, showing the scope of the artist’s talent in print, with products ranging from tobacco to wool to footwear.
