On canvas.The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. There are several areas of restoration, one to the shoulder of the woman, one beside her head and one to the right hand edge. There is also minor paint loss to the women's skirts but this is almost unnoticeable. The frame is in fine condition.
