A vibrant Japanese woodblock print by the prolific and prominent ukiyo-e artist Kunisada Utagawa (1786-1865) depicting two ladies in richly patterned traditional dress amongst blossom trees. Inscribed with characters to the lower right. Bears signature. Presented in a green painted frame. On paper.

Condition

The condition is typical for a picture of this age including some discolouration. Foxing throughout the paper. Small tears to the edges. Small hole to the top left. Fold lines to the upper and lower margins. Creasing throughout. Marks and scuffs to the frame.
