Kathleen Rumsey - Early 20th Century Charcoal Drawing The Dancer And The Puppet
Description
A charming charcoal scene showing a beautiful ballerina en pointe, curtsying with a strikingly life like miniature marionette doll. The artist has signed to the lower left corner.
An exquisite charcoal portrait of a young Edwardian lady from Kathleen Rumsey. Although we have no biographical information on the artist, it is clear from the superb detail and handling of the medium that Rumsey was a highly skilled draughtsman.
