Kathleen Caddick

A British painter and printmaker best known for her serene rural landscapes, ancient trees, and muted colour palettes, combining precise line work with delicate hand-colouring.

Painter and etcher Kathleen Caddick was born in Liverpool but raised in Buckinghamshire. After studying at High Wycombe College of Art, she worked as a graphic designer and lecturer, and was an examiner for City & Guilds before she started to paint full-time in 1968. In 1958, Caddick held a solo show at Heal & Sons Mansard Gallery in London. Examples of her prints are in the collection of Worcester City Art Gallery. Her commissions include work for the National Trust and the Woodland Trust.
