An impressive Chinese woodcut by notable printmaker Kang Ning, printed with an oil based ink. Signed and dated in pencil in the lower right and titled on the reverse. The artist's work was exhibited as part of the University of Michigan Museum of Art's 'Multiple Impressions: Contemporary Chinese Woodblock Prints' exhibition in 2011. Condition
There is some creasing and tears to the edges, including a large loss to the upper right corner. The damage to the edges is significant but we believe this could be mounted and framed to hide these tears.
