John Voss - Surrealist 1993 Oil Still Life with Fish
Description
A striking 20th Century still life, combining Surrealism with exquisitely painted trompe-l'œil. The still life shows a pair of fish, bizarrely suspended in the air in a cluster of other objects, including a red ball, Chinese vase, black metal bars and floating logs. The vibrant colours and usual composition make this a truly eye catching artwork. The artist has signed and dated to the lower right and inscribed with their address, a brief note about the painting and their signature. Presented in a thin wood frame. On canvas board.Condition
