A fine early 20th century still life of white and yellow flowers resting in vessels filled with water. The artist has painted each flower variety with such delicacy. What particularly stands out is the translucency of the bottle green bowl, the way the flower heads and stems have been picked out through the coloured glass. The composition has been well presented in a antique wood veneer frame. Unsigned. On paper.
Condition
Light scuffs and scratches to the wood veneer frame. There is a split in the veneer to the right hand edge. The oil itself is in very good condition.
