Eleven portraits engraved after painters such as Antonis Mor and Van Dyck, with the sitter's autographs and some seals printed underneath, the seals and autographs taken from the originals in the possession of John Thane. Published by John Thane, sitters include King James I, James Hay Earl of Carlisle, Lady Mary Vere, William Cavindish Marquis of Newcastle (after Van Dyck) and Sir Christopher Hatton. On wove. Condition is typical for pictures of this age including some discolouration and some very mild foxing spots.
