John Syer Sr (English 1815-1885) - An excellent landscape watercolour attributed to John Syer Sr. Acquired alongside a larger signed watercolour by Syer. In superb condition. In a very fine mount and frame labelled F. Newcombe, Bristol dating from about 1900-1910. This was in untouched condition when acquired, and had never been out of this frame since this framing about 100 years ago. I did have to clean the glass inside and out, as it was filthy and I couldn't get a decent photo. The frame retains its original gilding.Size: 19 x 36cm (7.5" x 14.2") Framed Size: 40 x 57cm (15.7" x 22.4")
