A wonderful watercolour study of Gourdon, in South-eastern France. Mace has wonderfully captured the evening sun and calmness of the landscape after a storm. Inscribed to the reverse 'Gourdon, winter afternoon after storm'. Signed to the lower left. On watercolour paper.
