A wonderfully vibrant and textured scene in watercolour showing a red haired young woman in a blue patterned dress sitting at a table with a vase of glorious red roses on a pink table cloth. The whole scene is awash with colour and life. There is a second watercolour at the reverse, showing a fine horse being led to the race. The artist has signed to the lower right of this side. On watercolour paper.
