Artist Biography
JOHN CORCORAN was born in 1940 and has been drawing and painting since he was quite young.
His father, who was a professional sign writer and portrait painter, was the artist’s teacher of drawing and brush techniques.
At the age of 14 he attended the Manchester Secondary Technical School of Art, where he studied for two years.
His oil paintings include Landscapes, Seascapes, Animal Studies and Wildfowl scenes.
His work to date is wholly in private collections, mainly in Britain, but also in the U.S.A. and many other countries.
