James McArdell - Original 1750 Mezzotint. Proof before letters. Triple portrait, after a self-portrait, of the painter standing in garden with his second wife Hélène Fourment and their unnamed young son, all whole-length. ca. 1742-1765. After the painting by Rubens in the Metropolitan Museum, New York, inv.no.1981.238. Unsigned. On laid. Slight damage to top right as shown and discolourations as shown. Otherwise good condition.
