A delicate watercolour study of Loch Fyne in Strachur, Scotland. We can see a farmer tending to his sheep on an early morning as he walks away from the cottage in the background. Signed to the lower left. On wove.

James Heron was a Scottish artist who lived in Edinburgh, and painted many Fife scenes, harbours, farmyard scenes and landscapes around Scotland. Heron exhibited at the Glasgow Institute and the Royal Scottish Academy of Art and Architecture, known as the RSA.
